Students' music tastes vary widely, spanning across a spectrum of genres and styles. Some gravitate towards the high-energy beats of pop and hip-hop , while others prefer the introspective melodies of folk and indie. From the headbanging riffs of metal to the soothing harmonies of classical, each person's musical palate is uniquely shaped by their individual preferences and life experiences. This diversity in taste adds richness and depth to the musical landscape, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy and connect with on a deeply personal level. The one thing that all of these genres share is that they can all benefit students to help reduce the pain and worry that has been caused by today's society.
So, the next time you're feeling overwhelmed or anxious, consider putting on some music. You might be surprised by how much a single song can help release the built-up tension inside. After all, lyrics are often the words someone wanted to express aloud but couldn't—they are sung in the silence of a dark room and in the freedom of the universe.
